Fayetteville State University Historical Exhibition @ Your Library
Explore the historical transformations of FSU’s past

This August and September, the Local & State History department of Headquarters Library (300 Maiden Lane – second level) is proudly presenting an historical exhibition of Fayetteville State University. This presentation was compiled by Library Associate Arletha Campbell and includes a comprehensive overview on the school’s history, founders, presidents and buildings. Also on display, you will find various museum pieces including FSU yearbooks and a 19th century sword. Become acquainted with the history of past Cumberland County residents who transformed the dialogue of educational liberties and created an academic institution now attended by over 6,000 students a year.
