Find Your Perfect Literary Match with NoveList

It's February, love is in the air and readers everywhere are looking for their next great read. Cumberland County Public Library & Information Center (CCPL&IC) now offers NoveList Plus, a resource that matches readers with books are right for them. Learn more about the service at “Find Your Perfect Match with NoveList” on Saturday, February 6 at 2:30 p.m. at Bordeaux Branch, 3711 Village Drive, or ask for more information at any library branch. NoveList can be accessed via CCPL&IC’s website while at the library or from home with a library card.
The NoveList Plus database connects readers to their next book by making recommendations for what to read next. One of the most popular elements is read-alikes; if you’ve just finished a great book, log into NoveList Plus and find more great books similar to that title, author or series. NoveList Plus also contains lists of recommended reads and award-winning books covering both fiction and nonfiction titles for all ages from the youngest readers to adults. It also has reviews (both professional reviews and reader reviews), book discussion guides, curriculum guides and other book-oriented articles.
Identifying the right books for every reader helps younger readers achieve reading success. Parents, teachers and students can search by age, reading level, grade and more.
Audiobook recommendations are a recent addition to NoveList Plus. When you want to find the perfect listening experience – whether that means short, long, for the whole family, a specific narrator – this service will help you find lots of suggestions. Sound clips are included so you can get a preview.
