Headquarters Library Voted Best Library Branch, Best Use of Tax Dollars

Since 1998, Up & Coming Weekly has asked the public to cast their vote in the annual Best of Fayetteville awards. In 2014, Cumberland County Public Library & Information Center is honored to receive two awards: Headquarters Library was voted Best Library Branch and the library system, along with Cumberland County Schools, was voted Best Use of Local Tax Dollars.

“We’re glad to hear that people value our Headquarters Library in its urban location,” said Jane Casto, manager of Headquarters Library. “It’s not a quiet location in a small neighborhood, but a bustling, busy library in the heart of downtown.” At right, Jane Casto accepts the award from Up & Coming’s Bill Bowman.
